hello I created a simple document with docbook included in the application. the document included a lot of pictures and after reopening the document 4 times I got a out of memory exception.
the problem is every time when the document is closed the memory isnt freed. is there a workaraund to avoid this memory leak? in the next few days we will make a decision about to buy 10 licences for xmleditor and we are planning to use the core xxe.jar to build up a new integrated editor application. but there we have to handle really huge documents with a lot of pictures and so we really dont need out of memory exceptions. i made some scans with jprobe to local the and there i saw that every time after a document was closed and the garbage collector ran that 20mb stucking still in the VM. also there are big byte arrays (i guess this are the pictures) hanging around unfreed by the garbage collector. thanks a lot for your help
