We are *very* annoyed by these printing problems. * Printing a draft means: we don't try to achieve typographic quality (i.e. ? la TeX). * Printing a draft does not mean: print a junk where some characters may be partially printed. The problem is that we really don't see what to do to solve these problems. We have already worked a lot on this. To our knowledge, there is no such problems on MacOSX 10.3/Java 1.4.2 and on Linux/Java 1.5. On Windows, upgrading to Java 1.5 helps a lot but with there are still problems with some fonts (not with default SansSerif).
