XXE (and all Java 1.5 applications) cannot display your JPEG image. * Mozilla 1.5 * Internet Explorer 5 * xv cannot display it. But * The Gimp * ImageMagick * pbmplus can display it or can convert it. Therefore the problem does not come from the image size (595x842 is a small size for an image), nor from the JPEG format (which is one of the most accepted image formats). The problem seems related to *your* image (and/or the software that has generated it). Your image seems to be ``non-mainstream'' JPEG.
