It works for me (XXE V2.10 on Windows 2000 with JRE 1.5.0_02), using the file association command line "C:\Program Files\XMLmind_XML_Editor\bin\xxe.exe" "%1" (for previous versions of XXE, omit "bin\" from the exe path) On Windows 2000 you need use the "Advanced" button on the "Folder Options|File Types" dialog to set up the association.
