No, the console is only useful to display the ``crashes''.

You could also try to press Tab several times or to iconify/un-iconify
XXE. This is what I do on Linux when I have keyboard focus problems.

There are no minor problems, but here I understand that you are in fact
reporting what is just *a keyboard focus problem*. I work on Linux and I
have *dozens* of such keyboard focus problems. These problems are not
specific to XMLmind XML Editor. These are generally Java problems; which
means that unfortunately there is not much we can do to improve the
situation.
