Obviously no. > A document as simple as: > > <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-15"?> > <article> > <title/> > <table> > <caption/> > <tr> > <td> > <para>cell</para> > </td> > </tr> > </table> > </article> > > generates a PDF with no text! > > Thanks, > > Eric > > PS: I am using version 2.9p1 with the latest FOP plugin. The process command generates the attached XSL-FO file (I'v added indentation). This file looks good and gives the expected results when processed by RenderX XEP and by XMLmind FO Converter. In my opinion, the author of the XSLT style sheet (or at least the author of the module which converts XHTML tables to XSL-FO) forgot to add workarounds that deal with FOP shortcomings. This is not the case of CALS tables where such workarounds have been added for FOP (if my memory serves me well). --- PS: The fact that XXE Professional Edition does not include a decent solution for printing/converting to PDF XML documents is one of our main concerns regarding the overall usefulness of our XML editor. Currently, the only solution we can suggest is to pay an extra ~USD300 to RenderX to be able to use XEP in XXE. And that's what we did for our own internal needs! -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
