There are many, *many* ways to do this. Basic idea: [1] Select a chapter. [2] Use command "Insert After" (not "Insert" which means "Insert into"). [3] Select "chapter" from the displayed list of elements. In practice, one of the many methods consists in: [1] Click anywhere inside the text of the chapter. [2] Right-click on the node path bar on the word "chapter" (see attached screen shot). [3] Choose "Insert Same Element After" from the popup menu. Unless you take the time to read our tutorial (http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/tutorial.html), you'll loose your time with our XML editor. Adding a chapter element is identical to adding *any other element*.
