To do this test, I have: [1] Copied FDS.xxe to <XXE_install_dir>/addon/config/docbook/ [2] Modified it to point to the right icon/ directory [3] Modified it to point to stock docbook.css [4] Created fake, DocBook 4.4 based, ELEC_Template.xml, SoftSiloSupportingMat_Template.xml, EmptySection.xml
--> All items in the DocBook menu are initially grayed simply because they contain contextual commands. Insert a table, click inside a cell and you'll see that this will enable all the menu items related to tables. --> I've noticed that your configuration contains a copy of most elements found in stock docbook.xxe. This is clearly not the most efficient way to do what you want. I strongly recommend to base your customization on the FDS.xxe (functionally identical to the FDS.xxe you sent me) I've attached to this email.
