We consider "Both Tree and Styled Views" to be unusable. Everything in XXE V2 is designed with "Please use the styled view, and only the styled view" in mind (which, IMHO, is anyway the right thing to do). We plan to change this in XXE V3: both tabbed windows and tabbed windows containing ``framed'' multiple views (? la HTML frameset/frame) are planned for XXE V3. Note that XXE V3 is scheduled for mid-2005. Meanwhile, we'll not spend much time trying to fix a flawed GUI.
