When I create a new document and type a few characters to mark it as modified, * If I use File|Save, XXE displays the File Chooser dialog to let me change "Untitled.xml" to something more sensible. * If I use File|Save As, XXE (as always) displays the File Chooser dialog to let me specify a new location. In my understanding, you want to be able to use File|Save (Ctrl-S) *even when the **new** document has not been modified*. If this is the case, I'll add this feature request to the User's Wish List. > Alternatively XXE may ask for file location before the file is opened in > editor. This would be intrusive for many users. We try to avoid that. --- PS: Easy to implement feature requests recorded in the User's Wish List are very likely to be implemented, but we cannot tell when. It may take weeks, months or years...
