No, if you use free, OpenSource, FOP (http://xml.apache.org/fop/).

Yes, if you use expensive, commercial, RenderX XEP
(http://www.renderx.com/).

Now some explanations.

XMLmind XML Editor converts DocBook documents by using Norman Walsh's
XSLT style sheets to generate XSL-FO Formatting Objects and then, uses a
XSL-FO processor to convert these objects to the target format.

Currently, XMLmind XML Editor supports 3 XSL-FO processors:

* XFC (http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/) which is used to create RTF
and WordprocessingML (MS-Word 2003) files.

* FOP which is used to create PostScript and PDF files.

* RenderX XEP which is used to create PostScript and PDF files.

In order to make XMLmind XML Editor use one of these XSL-FO processors,
you need to download the corresponding plug-in from
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/plugins.shtml

* The XFC plugin is self-contained and is free to use if you have
Professional Edition.

* The FOP plugin is self-contained and is free to use if you have
Professional Edition.

* The XEP plugin is *not* self-contained and requires you to purchase
XEP (3.7+ not 4.0) from http://www.renderx.com/

If you accept the idea of purchasing RenderX XEP, the best thing to do
is then:

[1] Download and install XXE Standard Edition from
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/download.shtml

[2] Download and install *free* XEP *Trial Edition* (3.7+, not 4.0) from
http://www.renderx.com/

[3] Download and install the XEP plug-in for XXE from
http://www.renderx.com/http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/plugins.shtml

----
PS 1: In all cases, you need to specify *very precisely* the size and
alignment of your images in the DocBook document using the proper
graphics/imagedata attributes.

PS 2: We are not affiliated to RenderX.

PS 3: We have not yet tested our plug-in with new XEP 4.0. We'll do that
for next version of XXE.
