Your docs say: XXE user preferences directory is: $HOME/.xxe2 on Unix. C:\winnt\Profiles\<user>\xxe2 on Windows NT. C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\xxe2 on Windows 2000.
But they don't say where this is under MacOS X. Perhaps ~/Library/xxe2/ ? However I tried putting a /config directory here and it didn't work.
