Hi, first of all, writing for the first time to this list, I just can't help praising XXE a bit before getting to the point. ;-) After trying quite a number of XML editors, XXE has become my absolute favorite, and I'm encouraging its use everywhere I can. It is a pity that only few people seem to have heard of it until now... Thank you very much, Hussein Shafie and Pixware, for offering such a great tool to the world! I'm especially grateful to you for the support you offer via this mailing list, even for XXE's free standard edition.
While I found answers to almost all of my questions about XXE in its excellent documentation, the FAQs or in some message on the list, one thing still bewilders me: XXE V. 2.6 removes the final newline (LF char) from any edited file when saving it.
