(Unless you use the private Java runtime bundled in xxe-std-25p1-setup.exe, which is a Java 1.4.2_02 runtime, in such case command "java" may be unknown.). Your problems seem to be caused by an old Java runtime because everything runs very smoothly on Windows XP Pro with Java 1.4.2_02+.
