The style sheet processor used by XXE is Michael Kay's Saxon 6.5.2 and the XML parser is James Clark's XT (see http://www.xmlmind.com/xpforjaxp.html ). With this combination, XIncludes are not expanded. > 2) It'd be really nice if in the macros/processes it would be possible > to read the file name and the path of the file on which we are > operating. I don't know if this is possible or not. I can add %Variables (like %W, %w, %S, see http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/docs/poweruser/ar01s04s02.html#process ) if it helps. > 3) I know that this can't be done (others have brought up this issue in > the support forum), but we'd sure like to be able to replace the entire > document at once. A macro-command containing a process-command and command "XXE.open" with parameter "%D" (see http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/docs/poweruser/ar01s05s52.html ) can be used to replace the document being edited after transforming it. Not very nice and smooth but it works. Please confirm that you are *really* interested in having these small enhancements in next release (XXE V2.5p2, next week).
