V2.4 Patch 1 (September 09, 2003)
Enhancements:
* Updated German localization thanks to Volker
Hess (Volker.Hess AT mz.uni-siegen DOT de).
* Updated Czech localization thanks to Martin
Kolarik (kolarik AT mii DOT cz).
* Added a Select All Children item to the Select
menu.
* Added a schemaType element to the detect
configuration element. Used this feature to
improve detection of DTD-less DocBook and
XHTML documents.
* User request: made general entity names
generated by XXE when creating modular
documents more readable.
Bug fixes:
* Fixed a bug which has been added by a bug
fix in V2.4. On Windows, this regression
prevented certain key bindings (example:
<keyPressed code="MULTIPLY"
modifiers="ctrl"/>) to be used to trigger
commands.
* XXE redeclared in the internal DTD subset
external general entities already declared in
the external DTD subset.
* XXE discarded top level comments and
processing instructions (that is, siblings of
the root element) from DTD-less documents
detected as being DocBook or XHTML using the
detect element of the corresponding
configuration files.
This bug allowed Standard Edition to insert a
reference to a DTD-less document containing a
top level comment in addition to the root
element. Reopening modular documents created
this way caused XXE to report a "references
not managed" warning.
* Fixed a bug which prevented XXE from starting
when the system was heavily loaded.
* Fixed a bug in command selectByID, which,
after V2.4 bug fix, for certain cases, no
longer scrolled to make selected element
visible.
