No, this time it is a shortcoming in XXE: adding "foo.dar" to the spell directory means that XXE will try to load a dictionary called "foo/default" ignoring everything else in the .dar. That is, XXE does not attempt to extensively scan the content of the .dar to find out everything it contains.
