XXE remembers last 10 opened documents (but just shows last 5 opened file names in the File menu). * When you open a document, the file chooser dialog box should show you the contents of the directory of currently edited document. * If no document is being edited, the file chooser dialog box should show you the contents of the directory of last opened document. * If no opened file history is available, the file chooser dialog box should show you the contents of your ``home'' directory (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\). If this is not the behavior of XXE on your machine, then it is a symptom of another problem. For example, XXE may not be able to store user preferences on your machine (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\xxe2\). Also note that XXE is not supported on Windows 95, Windows 98 and Window ME (only on the NT, 2000, and XP family) and you may have this kind of problem on these platforms.
