We have found a *large* number of problems on MacOSX 10.2+/Java 1.4.1. All the problems are related to the GUI. Some of them are very severe (for instance, those related to font metrics ==> blinking caret is often displayed in the middle of a letter!!!). We have not yet evaluated the time it will take to find workarounds for these problems so it is difficult to give you a precise answer. A pessimistic date would be May 2003.
