I have checked http://www.capcollege.bc.ca/test/xml-mind/index.xhtml What Bernd has suggested is the real solution to your problem. The 'with_glossdef' template is just a refinment. You'll find attached to this email a replacement docbook.xxe having both <rootElementLocalName>glossary</rootElementLocalName> and the 'with_glossdef' template. I've also added a Glossary document template called 'Glossary (part of a modular document)'. Simply unzip patch.zip inside <XXE_install_dir>/config/docbook/ and answer yes when WinZip will ask you if it can overwrite docbook.xxe and common.incl. Make sure to use XXE V2.5p1 because I have not tested this with earlier versions. > I realize that docBook may not be your main focus, so I understand when > you say XXE is not ideal for docBook - *not with the > bundled DocBook configuration alone* - does this mean there is a > docBook config that is more comprehensive on the Professional Edition? No. There is no difference between Standard Edition and Professional Edition in terms of support of DocBook. * The bundled CSS style sheet fully supports DocBook V4.2. * The other bundled DocBook configuration files are here to show to Power Users (such as Bernd) how they can customize XXE to the needs of their organizations. * Non Power Users can request enhancements from us. These RFEs will be implemented ASAP if they are simple and generic. For example, the attached patch will be part of the bundled DocBook configuration files of the next XXE release. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
