Hi folks,

This is probably a stupid question, but anyways, here's my problem.

I couln't manage to find how to create an APT document from XXE. I guess the
plugins are loaded, though, since the plugin options submenu appears in the
GUI.

The workaround I found is to
        $ touch ./test.apt
        $ xxe ./test.apt

...which loads the APT editor correctly in XXE. But it's pretty dirty, hmm?

Oh, and by the way, I also wondered what were the XXE_* shell variables
used (though never defined) in the 'xxe' wrapper script. But that's not
critical, as everything works extremely well (J2EE 1.4.3 alpha / Solaris 8 /
Sparc64 IIIi) whitout changing a thing.

A last thing. I've been watching the little world of XML editors for over a
year now. Some folks are doing a great job, especially the Gnome guys with
their GTK+ editor... but XXE beat's them all---if you're no opensource maniac,
and if your machine(s) can afford the (huge) JVM overhead.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
