Hussein, We have a technote that details some of what you want, and we have another in the works: The one we have details the runtime properties: http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2031.html
The one we are working on details Tailoring Java Applications for Mac OS X (Should be out soon): http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2042.html The Apple Java developer mailing list is another tool that is great. Many of the Apple Java developers frequent the list, and many of the people on the list are very smart. It is a very active list so you will want to set up a mail filter. http://lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/java-dev Ted On Thursday, March 28, 2002, at 01:25 AM, Hussein Shafie wrote: > Ted Jucevic wrote: >> >> I just downloaded your XMLMind application for Mac OS X, and I noticed >> that all of your menu accelerators are CTRL, not the Command key on Mac >> OS X. >> >> Java provides a cross platform way to get the Look and Feels menu >> shortcut key mask. >> >> In java.awt.Toolkit the method >> public int getMenuShortcutKeyMask ( ) >> will return the proper short key mask for the L&F you are running on. >> >> This will give you Ctrl-Keys on Win, Solaris, etc.., but The Command >> Key >> on Mac OS X. > > Well, I've never noticed this method.
