It's probably a M1.2 bug related to the Alcatel DTD, here is why: 1) DTD validation is implemented using a regular expression engine and I've switched from GNU regexp.jar to Jakarta regexp.jar for the M1.2. (Fortunately, validation is no longer implemented using a regexp engine in the future product!). 2) In a large document, you'll more likely find an element whose valid but strangely written content model triggers the bug. 3) Of course, there are no such valid but strangely written content models in Docbook or XHTML DTDs. Therefore, I _really_ need a sample XML document plus the corresponding DTD to attempt to fix this bug.
