Thank you for the information. Note that the patch was submitted in November 2005 and that Xerces still seems not to support xml:id, a very simple and very useful standard. --- PS: XMLmind XML Editor uses Xerces as its XML parser, but does not ask it to do anything other than just parsing XML. Schema (DTD, W3C XML Shema, RELAX NG Schema) and instance validation, XInclude processing, are all performed by code written by XMLmind developers.
