Thanks for the reply, but no image was attached. I selected the first entry at the top of the left column and ctrl-up arrow to highlight the whole column box, then insert-before, but only had 'entry' related attrubutes available in the list and no colwidth attributes (see attached).
I checked my version and I am on xxe-pro-3_8_0 CT -----Original Message----- From: Hussein Shafie [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 23 September 2008 09:14 To: Chris Taylor Cc: xmleditor-support at xmlmind.com Subject: Re: [XXE] tables Chris Taylor wrote: > That is very helpful, but I am not sure how to do this within xxe? [2] Select its tbody or thead ancestor using the node path (or press Ctrl-Up repeatedly). [3] Use "Insert Before". [4] Select colspec from the list. [5] A colspec element is inserted before the tbody (or thead) and should be already selected (red border around it). [6] Using the Attribute tool, specify colwidth="2in". > Do I need to do this manually in the xml file? > You never need to do this. This would be very error prone.
