We are currently working on native MathML editing capabilities. It
should be available in v3.8, which is expected to be released before the
end of this month.

Note that:

* We'll only support MathML 2.0 *presentation* markup (dare I say: to
its goriest details). We do not intend to support content markup.

* We'll not support deprecated attributes (e.g. we support @mathcolor
and ignore @color).

* We'll not ``line-break'' long math expressions.

* XXE v3.8 requires MathML elements to be in the
"http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"; namespace. Due to a design choice
in XXE v3 (but not in XXE v4), this prevents using the MathML DTD.
Therefore, instead we use the MathML W3C XML Schema or a translation of
the MathML DTD to RELAX NG (for integration with DocBook 5).

* Native MathML editing capabilities will not be available in free
Personal Edition.
