Yes, you have a Java runtime installed on your system but the log shows that you installed it in way which hasn't registered this runtime in '\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\'. In our opinion, there is no problem we can fix here. In such case, * We strongly recommend to download and install xxe-perso-3_7_1-setup.exe rather than xxe-perso-3_7_1-setup-nojvm.exe. This distribution comes with its private Java runtime 1.6 and has no interaction at all (1) with the Windows registry (2) with your other Java runtimes. * Alternatively, if javaw.exe is in your %PATH%, start XMLmind XML Editor using xxe.bat rather than xxe.exe.
