Something seems to have broken between 3.7.1 and 3.8.1 with the font
support.

A year or so ago, we created a modified version of the Java
fontconfig.properties file, following the instructions that you pointed
us to here:
http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/intl/fontconfig.html
This allows us to use special fonts for the Bengali and IPA ranges of
Unicode. We have to copy that fontconfig.properties file over to the
new Java lib directory every time a new version of Java comes out, but
other than that this has worked OK. (Well, I couldn't get it to work at
all for the Arabic/Urdu code range, but that's another story.)

Until yesterday. We upgraded from XXE 3.7.1 to 3.8.1 (Pro), and this
stopped working. All my Bengali and IPA characters turned to boxes.

XXE reports that it's using "Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.6.0_06",
and I verified that we have the modified fontconfig.properties file in
   C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_06\lib\fontconfig.properties
(the same file worked fine with 3.7.1).

So has something changed to break the font support in 3.8.1? If so, we
would like to revert to 3.7.1 until this gets fixed; but we will also
need several plug-ins for 3.7.1 (including the WebDav plugin), which are
no longer on the XMLmind website. How can we install these?
