This is not a bug. The colspec is not considered to be part of the column and therefore is not copied to the clipboard along with the table cells. When you paste a column after the rightmost column, a colspec is not strictly needed and therefore, XXE does not create one. In such case, the user is expected to manually create a colspec if she/he intends to format the newly pasted column. When you paste a column elsewhere, XXE automatically creates an *empty* colspec if it finds out that one is needed there.
