We have never heard of such problems. May be you are near to be out of disk space or may be your OS is near to be out of resources (memory, too much processes, etc). May be you don't have administrator privileges. I would suggest to [1] reboot your machine [2] login as an administrator [3] retry installing the distribution after turning off your anti-virus and anti-spyware software. If all this fails, please try installing: http://www.xmlmind.net/xmleditor/_download/xxe-perso-3_7_1.zip (or http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_download/xxe-perso-3_7_1.zip) Please install it by unzipping the distribution in any directory. Start XXE by executing XXE_install_dir/bin/xxe, xxe.exe or xxe.bat (depending on your platform).
