But it crashes if FOP was used with any external font configuration. Xalan.jar that's missing contains URI.class and URI $MalformedURIException.class that are used for parsing and creating font configurations within FOP, and in many other places. Therefore it just doesn't crash by default in XXE, coz XXE doesn't use any custom FOP fonts by default.
