Hi there Thanks, I also have long ids, so I welcome this change.
I have a related request: make the "Attributes" sidebar friendlier to long ids as well. E.g. let the full value show as a tooltip during mouseover, or give an option to let values wrap. (Making the sidebar very wide isn't satisfying: eats up too much screen permanently.) Similarly, the "Contained in document" field on the "Include" sidebar doesn't work well with long paths. Since this value shows from which document you're including elements, it's important to keep an eye on it. - On Windows, the path is anchored at the start; e.g. you'd see "c:\boring\part\of\path\" instead of "f\path\interesting.xml". - On Linux, the path is also anchored at the start in the selection dropdown presented by the down-arrow next to this field. This means I have to choose between e.g. "/home/jean/work/acme/docs/te" and "/home/jean/work/acme/docs/gl" instead of between e.g. "me/docs/terminology.xml" and "me/docs/glossary.xml". > > E.g. "code-example-foo-bar", "architecture-diagram-bee-boo". Just a suggestion: put the distinguishing part in front: foo-bar__example, bee-boo__diagram. Then you spend less time typing and reading the repetitive part. (Note: the repetitive part is necessary to distinguish e.g. backup-procedure__section, backup-procedure__diagram and backup-procedure__glosslist.) -- jean . .. .... //\\\oo///\\
