Hello there, we're experiencing problems accessing a file through an http URL (XXE's WebDAV plugin installed). XXE is configured to display the URL selector when one clicks File->Open and the problem is present when used over a dialup (plain old modem, 56Kbps) link.
1) File->Open 2) Type the http URL (ex: http://my.company.net/ProjectName) 3) Click the Browse Remote Files button to 'navigate' the repository ProjectName in order to search for the file to open 4) Lots of network link (modem line) activity and then a dialog is shown stating: "Cannot connect to URL_HERE: URL_HERE does not support WebDAV. Notes: 1) The URL is password protected, but the username/password input dialog is never shown 2) When the URL is accessed through a broadband link, everything works fine, the username/pass dialog is shown, proper credentials entered, and the remote repo file-open is shown where one can work normally with files. 3) Using another DAV client from the dialup link (ex: cadaver) works fine on the same URL.
