Currently, there is no way to force XXE to use the original encoding of 
an XML file for the save files it creates.

This feature has been requested by other users and will almost certainly 
be implemented in the future. See

For now, please use Options|Preferences, Save section, to specify the 
encoding of the XML files created by XXE.
