Hello Shafie,

Thank you for your reply.

I was hoping to see if there are any "add-ons" to XXE that may make the
review mode more effective. Are you aware of any?

On the other hand, I did get to check out XXE Pro edition. There is an option
available to insert a comment. This works well for the reviewer who usually
enters additional inputs or comments. However, the author who updates these
inputs also needs to "highlight" this updated portion, so that the reviewer
does not spend time checking through the entire document during the following
iteration.

For this I felt selecting the updated portion and choosing a element like
"remark" can render the text in a different color. But the problem is that this
can't be changed back to "para" element.

Do you have any pointers on how this can be done? I hope i have been clear in
explaining the query. Let me know if you need any further clarifications.

Thanking you once again,
Dishaa

To my knowledge Oxygen is a ``programmer's editor'' and does not compete
with Syntext Serna and XXE.

We don't have this feature and, to my knowledge, Syntext Serna has it.
They call it "redlining".

Yes. See

No. IMHO, this feature is not really related to an XML editor.

Yes, provided that you write one XSLT style sheet which outputs HTML and
another one which which outputs XSL-FO.

Note that I'm an employee of XMLmind, therefore my answers may be biased.
