In my answer, I assume that you are using a recent version of XMLmind XML Editor Evaluation Edition. Conversion to PDF is achieved by the means of an XSL-FO processor. Such XSL-FO processor is not bundled with XMLmind XML Editor. It is available as an add-on. You have the choice between 3 XSL-FO processor add-ons: * Apache FOP 0.20.5 * Apache FOP 0.93 * RenderX XEP (not self contained, requires having RenderX XEP, a high quality commercial product, installed on your computer, at least the first time the add-on is used). I would recommend to use FOP 0.93. In order to do that, simply use menu item "Options|Install Add-ons", select the add-on called "Apache FOP 1.x XSL-FO processor plug-in", click OK and restart XMLmind XML Editor as instructed. --- PS: The error message yout got is obsolete and thus, misleading. We have changed it in next version of XMLmind XML Editor (3.6.1).
