[a] The clipboard tool (at the right of the status bar) shows you what has been copied to the clipboard: plain text, a single element or multiple nodes. [b] The node path bar (above the document views) shows you where you are. [c] You must choose between Paste Before, Paste After or Paste (which means: into, at caret position).
