Oddly enough, I just came across a situation where this would have been useful: an author wrote a document that didn't follow the DTD and contained text in a wrapper element that isn't supposed to contain text. xxe's validation found it, of course, but it was buried deeply in the nested element structure. I wanted to highlight this text that appears inside an element that doesn't permit cdata, but couldn't find a way. I suppose this means I'd like to request this as a feature! (I helped the author to use the unstructured view to find the text, but that obviously isn't as pretty!) Thanks, Bill
