I referred to www.xmlmind.com. It's not possible to get an eval key from this site. So your proposal won't work unfortunately.

For now, please download everything from www.xmlmind.com (which is referred to as the slow ``alternate site''). This also applies to add-ons. Using Options|Options, "Install Add-ons" section, select: http://www.xmlmind.net/xmleditor/_download/list-${XXE_VERSION}.xxe_addon Click on the "Edit" button and replace ".net" by ".com".
