Hello,

1. You have to explicitly specify the desired image width or height
in the imagedata element (attributes width, height). See:
http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/ImageSizing.html
http://docbook.org/tdg/en/html/imagedata.html
2. You can control this by inserting following parameter to
appropirate document conversion scenario in options->customize
configuration -> change document conversion parameters:

<xsl:param name="generate.toc">
appendix toc,title
article/appendix nop
article toc,title
book toc,title,figure,table,example,equation
chapter toc,title
part toc,title
preface toc,title
qandadiv toc
qandaset toc
reference toc,title
sect1 toc
sect2 toc
sect3 toc
sect4 toc
sect5 toc
section toc
set toc,title
</xsl:param>

In line specifies which parts of the resulting document will have
TOC. For more information see:
http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/TOCcontrol.html
You can also use customization layer along with your DocBook XSL
Stylesheets distribution and control this feature from there.

Greetings
Pavel

Subject: [XXE] Formatting PDF images and TOC

I am using 3.6.0 and really like the flexibility of changing Conversion
Parameters for PDF and other files using Options | Customize
Configuration | Change Document Conversion Parameters. Perhaps someone
could help me with two issues.

1. PDF image sizes. Images (inlinemediaobject) narrower than a certain
width are resized down to an even narrower size when using DocBook |
Convert Document | Convert to PDF. How can I disable this resizing? How
can I allow resizing but specify a maximum image width?

2. PDF Table of Contents. For a DocBook Chapter document, I cannot seem
to get a Table of Contents to appear when I convert it to a PDF Document
using Convert to PDF. Is that possible? I inserted a toc element, but am
not sure what else needs to be done to make the Table of Contents appear
in the converted document. If I am missing something in the XXE
documentation or XSL documentation, please point me in the right
direction.

Thank you.
