As I should have done earlier, I've now taken the time to work through the tutorial; good stuff, and leaves me with increased respect for the power of XML Edit. I noted three questions, and was properly put in my place by finding two of the answers on the quickref card ... so just one question left.
By careful selection, I ended up with three words set to "button"; the first was already "em", the last two "strong". emphasisand strong How do I remove "button" without also removing "em" and "strong"?
