This problem has already been reported by several users but unfortunately we don't know how to fix it. [1] We have implemented the dialog which allows to authenticate the user with *any* kind of server (http, proxy, etc). [2] We have successfully tested it against an Open Source SOCKS proxy (don't remember its name) here at XMLmind. [3] However, it seems that the dialog is *not* invoked by the network classes of the Java[tm] runtime when XXE is used by most our corporate users.
