--> You need to create a configuration file teaching XMLmind XML Editor how to cope with your W3C XML Schema. This configuration file will point to your schema and to your document templates. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/configure/configure.html --> You don't need to purchase Professional Edition to do this. Free Standard Edition will happily accept your W3C XML Schema and your templates. --> Alternatively, if your document templates have working xsi:schemaLocation attributes (and optionally <?xml-stylesheet?> processing instructions), you can simply use "File|Open Copy" and/or "File|Open As Template" without having to write a configuration. It is really designed for heavy duty production use, that's why we strongly recommend to take the time to write configurations for it. Writing a basic configuration takes 5 minutes. Writing a CSS to get a styled view instead of the tree view takes several hours (simple schema) to several days (e.g. DITA, DocBook).
