No. This is probably a limitation of the ``PDF renderer'' (e.g. FOP) because the author of the XSL style sheets generally make use of fo:keep* attributes (http://www.w3.org/TR/xsl/#d0e26492) which prevent splitting such blocks. Therefore, my guess is that if you use RenderX XEP (free Personal Edition), your screenshot/textobject will not be split.
