There is a number of examples that you might find helpful here:

Subject: [XXE] xinclude

Hi,

I use xxe to edit documents conforming to a custom DTD, and until now have used
external entities for purposes of transclusion. Just recently I tried using
XInclude instead, to get round an entity limitation, and it works very nicely -
in the editor. What I hadn't thought of, however, is that I don't use XXE for
output generation - I use Saxon, driven from ant build scripts. So of course,
the xinclude elements are not processed. I have searched quite a lot on the
web, but not found any obvious "standard" XInclude processor to include in my
production line. Is there one? Does XXE include any component that can be
called from the command line for this purpose?

Sorry, I know this is a bit off-topic...
