I have no problem printing (i.e. using "File|Print") *small* to
*moderate* size (less than 50 pages) documents on the Mac using a
similar environment. See attached screen shot.

However notice on the screen shot the huge amount or memory consumed and
*leaked* by this operation. If the document you try to print is large
the problem may come from this fact. See

There is not much you or we, XMLmind, can do because this problem is
specific to the implementation of Java[tm] on the Mac.

PS: "File|Print" has not been designed to create high-quality printouts.
It is similar in quality to printing support in Web browsers.

With Professional Edition, instead, you could convert your XML to
PostScript and then send the generated PostScript to a PostScript printer.

This feature is available out of the box for DocBook and XHTML, e.g.
"DocBook|Convert Document|Print PostScript". You could easily implement
the same feature for your own document types.
