We are not against implementing what you describe. However we are not
sure to understand "the Edit Attribute dialog box".

Do you mean: the file chooser dialog box displayed by the Attributes
tool when you click on its Browse button?

Or is it the file chooser dialog box displayed by selecting
"Edit|Reference|Include Text"?
