I'm sorry but we cannot help you. While integrated input method support has been thoroughly tested on Windows and on the Mac, we never managed to have something that works at the Linux desktop level (not speaking about the XMLmind XML Editor level). All our attempts to add Japanese Input Method Support to an openSUSE/KDE/en_US system lead us to installing dozens of packages/hundreds of megabytes to end up with a system which was no longer usable in *any* *language*: Japanese, but also English or French. But let's say that this issue was caused by our sheer ignorance.
