I have a png image in a file and want to use it multiple times in the same file using conrefs. When I first paste the reference, the image and the transcluded xml look fine. But if I save and reopen, or even redraw the page, the "Unknown format" image is shown and the transcluded xml no longer reflects the attributes of the referenced image. For example the @href is "???" and the @id is missing. If I untransclude the reference, the conref still looks right, so I assume this is just a display issue. Also, if I reference the image's container (say, a table entry) and paste that, there is no problem with the image display.
