This seems to indicate that the problem comes from your working environment on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64/IIS 7.5. > > Is Windows Server 2008 R2 supported? However we have never tested our software on this platform (mainly because we don't see why our software, which is 100% Java and which runs unchanged on many very different platforms, would fail to run on such platform). --- PS: Just an idea, may be ".jnlp" files are somewhat blocked by IIS 7.5 (missing declaration of the MIME type or something like that). Please type the full URL of xxe.jnlp (e.g. "http://127.0.0.1/xmleditor/_applet/xxe.jnlp") in the address field of your Web browser and try to download it this way. That is, please try to reproduce what the Java plugin attempts to do at the most early stage of the startup of the applet. If this simple download does not work, then the problem comes the way IIS has been configured. -- XMLmind XML Editor Support List [email protected] http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/xmleditor-support
